What is Thatch Eliminator ?
THATCH ELIMINATOR is a biological thatch digester in a concentrated liquid solution consisting of selected enzymes and natural beneficial indigenous soil organisms for the rapid digestion and recycling of grass clippings and other plant residues.
Thatch Eliminator is easily mixed in a simple garden sprayer for application to your lawn and because it is totally organic and made from natural ingredients it is non toxic and safe to use around pets, children and people with environmental or chemical sensitivities.
Thatch Eliminator vs Power Raking
Regular use of thatch eliminator after mowing and seasonally is extremely cost effective, especially when compared to labour intensive, noisy and polluting power raking thatch removal. Many profesional lawn care companies have switched over to enzyme dethatching as this eco friendly solution is much more effective and does not require expensive machines to provide the service.
Purewest Environmental Solutions recommends this product over traditional de-thatching where the thatch and clippings are power raked up and removed. In essence you are taking away the organic material and natural fertilizer from the lawn. over the years this organic material would produce a layer of well aerated, springy and water absorbant soil that would produce a lusher thicker lawn.
Nature intended for this thatch to be reabsorbed into the root mass of the grass to provide nutrients, organic matter for the soil and food for bacteria and micro organisms living in heathly soil.
